I am a RN,BSN from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Advid Tiger fan, GO TIGERS! I love the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball and Kansas City Chiefs!
I've been a nurse for 18 years. My career spans many areas from intensive care units, labor and delivery, postpartum, pediatrics, neonatal intensive care, clinics, med-surg., ER, agency nursing, to parent educator with Parents As Teachers.
My greatest joy is my family. My wonderful husband of 16 years makes me laugh daily. Our 3 children, who keep us busy, but at our terms. We run a zone defense on managing the Three Musketeers!
My hobbies include camping, hiking, bird-watching, biking, reading, knitting/sewing, gardening, and swimming.
My personal areas of interest in health care are cardiovascular disease, obesity, healthy pregnancy, autism, parenting skills, breastfeeding, child developement, chronic pain/nerve damage, and preventative health.
